This conference will identify cultural disparities that represent obstacles to obtaining mental health services and focus on cultural competency as a bridge to therapeutic success. Dr. Cheryl Grills will inspire participants with an enlightening keynote on why culture matters. Through its keynote address, breakout sessions, and concluding panel discussion, this program strives to transform participants’ cultural experiences into a collective platform for mental health equity among urban communities in Los Angeles.
