Mindfulness and Meditation: How it has helped me and might help you
“For years I’ve wanted to share the basics of mindful meditation with NAMI friends because it has helped me so much in dealing with my husband’s bipolar illness and death and, since then, with the ongoing stresses and strains of life. Last year I took a 10-month training program to become a facilitator for teaching basic mindful meditation and now feel ready to share what I’ve learned with others. Join me on June 21 to learn what this practice is and is not as well as some of the most valuable benefits I’ve received. Finally I will lead you through a short meditation.”
