All members of the community can help NAMI South Bay raise awareness and improve the quality of life or lessen the struggles of those with mental illnesses and their family members.

Become Educated

NAMI South Bay offers a number of free programs to provide essential and foundational information about mental illnesses, available services and treatment methods, and coping skills for consumers/clients (those with mental illness diagnoses) and family members. CLICK HERE to review available programs offered by NAMI South Bay, or seek other educational services, including understanding and reducing the stigma that is often associated with mental illness.

Become a Member

CLICK HERE for a printable membership form. Complete the form and mail it with a check to NAMI South Bay. The form is suitable for either new members or renewing members.

Volunteer

There are numerous opportunities to volunteer for those that have the time and willingness to help. CLICK HERE for an overview of some of the volunteer opportunities with NAMI South Bay.

Donate

NAMI South Bay survives on membership fees and donations. NAMI South Bay is a non-profit association. A link to NAMI South Bay’s membership form is above. In addition, donations can be made out to NAMI South Bay and mailed to:

Promote Community Donations

Contributions can also be directed through community-contribution programs. Ralphs Grocery store offers such a program. To participate, do the following:

Then, when you shop at Ralphs, NAMI South Bay will receive a community contribution from Ralphs.

Get Trained

If you have the time and training, you can teach others. NAMI South Bay is always in need of trainers and facilitators. Please check the calendar and announcements for opportunities to obtain training, or call the NAMI South Bay office at (310) 533-0705.
